TIMOTHY
Timothy traveled with
Paul throughout most of his second and third missionary
journeys. He seems to have become Paul's protege and Paul speaks
figuratively of himself as Timothy's "father". Timothy served as
Paul's representative in the churches of Thessalonica. 1st
Timothy is noteworthy for its interest in church organization.
2nd Timothy provides an important final picture of Paul. |
