THE BOOK OF ACTS
Luke, the only non-Jewish writer
in the New Testament, wrote Acts as a sequel to his earlier volume. It
could have been entitled the Acts of the Holy Spirit for it tells of
what happened after the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles at
Pentecost. The first 12 chapters deal mostly with the activities of
the apostle Peter, while the remaining chapters are taken up largely
