THE BOOK OF ACTS
Luke, the only non-Jewish writer in the New Testament, wrote Acts as a sequel to his earlier volume. It could have been entitled the Acts of the Holy Spirit for it tells of what happened after the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles at Pentecost. The first 12 chapters deal mostly with the activities of the apostle Peter, while the remaining chapters are taken up largely with the work of the apostle Paul.
